It’s pretty hard to get excited about a mug, isn’t it? Actually, we don’t think so, at least not when the mug weighs next to nothing, packs down incredibly small, and incorporates protection against hot or cold temperatures. The BPA-free, food-grade silicone Cool Grip X-Mug has a 15 fluid ounce capacity, but it retracts to the size of a 0.5″ thick coaster when not in use, so it takes up almost no space in your pack. A simple, but ingenious external patterning creates just enough distance to protect your hands from extreme heat or cold. Oh, and it weighs all of 2.7 ounces!  We’re sold.
