Salomon Pulsar Trail

Last year, Salomon unveiled their S/Lab Pulsar, a feather-light, performance-oriented racing shoe. We loved the shoe, but it unapologetically catered to a podium-minded niche rather than aiming to please those of us with more average speed and ambition. Never fear, the brand new Pulsar Trail takes the DNA of its sleeker sibling and equips it with more long-term durability and enhanced cushioning. Like its predecessor, it still uses an imbedded stabilizing “blade” in the midsole and dual-density foam to deliver great cushioning and fatigue-fighting energy return. An “All Terrain” outsole lives up to that naming and ensures confident footing on all surfaces. So, consider last year’s initial unveiling a teaser. The Pulsar Trail was worth the wait.
