Salewa Dropline

There is more and more gear becoming available to tackle outings that blend running, hiking, and fastpacking into one versatile adventure and the Salewa Dropline shoe slots right into that same category. It is lightweight, well-cushioned, and equipped with traction for packed trails or alpine terrain. All Salewa shoes use some variation of their signature 3F system to create an anatomical fit by spreading laces three-dimensionally to mirror the asymmetry of your foot, resulting in less movement in the heel, less rubbing, and less potential for blisters. The Dropline uses a very minimalist version of this system to achieve the same effect while minimizing weight. The mesh upper is highly breathable and has built-in stretch while an exterior “cage” adds lightweight lateral support. An EVA midsole and Ortholite footbed team up to provide ample underfoot cushioning and rebound while the high-performance Pomoca rubber outsole effectively sheds debris and delivering an excellent heel-to-toe transition. Consider this a do-it-all tool for a-little-of-everything adventures!
