Osprey uses the tagline “built for movement, made for adventure” on the Talon and Tempest and it’s a fitting claim. These are truly multi-sport packs, as comfortable on hiking trails as they are scaling steep pitches or mountain biking. They’re offered in a broad range of storage capacities and access-variations, but we really like the 33-liter version for its balanced combination of lidded protection, ample internal storage, and integrated features. Pack smartly and you can even use these for fastpacking. The packs really hug your torso which makes for unrestricted movement that our Gear Specialists appreciate on any type of outdoor activity and the AirScape backpanel and high-tenacity fabrics do a great job of tamping down heat, so you stay cool and comfortable.
