Thru-hiking favorites, the Exos and the Eja are an excellent balance of weight, features, and load-carrying capability. A few years back Osprey made some updates to the packs and made the decision to drop the hipbelt pockets to save on weight and, well, let’s just say that devotees of the packs weren’t happy about that. We get it. We missed them too and we’re happy to report that they’re back! And not only are they back, but these packs (these models are also available in 58 liter and 38 liter versions) now have built-in torso fit adjustability, utilize 100% recycled and bluesign-approved fabrics, and still weigh-in under 3 pounds. Along with the reintroduction of the hipbelt pockets, Osprey also tweaked the shaping of the hipbelts to increase padded coverage and enhance overall fit.
