There was already a crowded trail running vest market when Osprey first rolled out the Duro and Dyna now several years ago, but not surprisingly considering the brand’s pack-building experience they immediately received a warm response. The new LT versions of these packs offer a trimmed-down variation for shorter-duration outings or minimalist-oriented runners who don’t intend to carry much. They fit close to the body and do so comfortably with dual removable and adjustable sternum straps. Two included soft flasks ride conveniently right up front alongside pockets that securely stow small essentials like gels and keys. Our Gear Specialists give an extra big thumbs up for a zippered harness pocket that is actually big enough to store a phone and its case, a too frequent failing of a lot of running vest packs.
