Oboz Whakata Trail

When Oboz began designing its line of sandals to accompany its already expansive offering of boots and trail shoes, they borrowed a term from the Māori that means “to catch breath, rest, and have a break.” That is fitting for the Whakata Trail which definitely has the slip-on comfort for taking things easy either at home, in the backyard, or in camp after a day of hiking. But make no mistake, the sandal is also completely trail capable with a compression molded rubber outsole and a cushioned midsole and footbed that ingeniously repurposes algae biomass! The recycled webbing on the upper and an adjustable heel strap help to lock-in your foot when necessary but the strap also rolls forward so the Whakata Trail can be worn as a laid-back slide.
