The low-cut Arete Low B-DRY Waterproof is certainly equipped for life on the trail. It has a weather-resistant mesh upper and a waterproof/breathable membrane. TPU overlays add extra durability while “no sew” construction minimizes the potential for blisters and helps to maintain a sleek profile. An EVA midsole and a cut-above insole do a great job of delivering cushioning and enhanced fit. The rubber outsole utilizes multi-directional lugs and a strategic tread pattern to ensure traction whether you’re going uphill, or downhill, or enjoying the flats! For anyone seeking even greater breathability, or not interested in venturing out in wet weather, the shoe is also available in a non-waterproof version.
