NEMO Dragonfly OSMO 2P

With an average minimum packed weight of less than 3 pounds and an abundance of top-of-the-line features, the Dragonfly is one of our Gear Specialists’ favorite 2-person backpacking tents. We don’t want to completely sacrifice comfort to get weight down to the minimum and this tent doesn’t ask us to. Ultra-lightweight, cutting-edge OSMO fabric, a poly/nylon ripstop, achieves an impressive level of weather-resistance and decreases performance-diminishing stretch. The hubbed pre-curved poles are also exceptionally light but provide the tent with an architecture that maximizes internal space so you can actually live comfortably inside the tent even when the weather outside is miserable. And, as you’d expect from NEMO, there are other innovative touches too. Two of our favorites are a dividable stuff sack that lets two backpackers efficiently share the already minimal carry weight of the tent, and an integrated storage “bin” that clips inside one of the external vestibules so you can keep gear protected and off the ground.
