MSR Thru-Link Inline Microfilter

Hikers, backpackers, and travelers have long benefitted from the safe water treatment made available by the engineers at MSR.  Their new Thru-Link Inline Water Filter is an ultra-lightweight solution that enables you to filter water as you drink without any stopping, priming, or pumping.  Spliced easily into your hydration system (sold separately), it uses two-stage filtration and hollow fiber technology to remove particulates, bacteria, and protozoa while also cleansing water of chemicals, tastes, and odor. It weighs just 2.5 ounces, filters at a rate of 1.2 liters per minute, and is effective for up to 1,000 liters!  If there’s something not to love, we haven’t figured out what it is.
