In addition to protected external vestibules, each of the two sidewalls of the interior tent has a built-in “fin” or closet for things you’d really like to have in easy reach without cutting into the specific space where you’ll sprawl out to sleep. Obviously, that alone isn’t enough to make a tent one worth hauling into the backcountry, but the Trailfin also provides dependable 3-season weather protection, durability, and packability.
