The unique “quilted” design of the Insulated Q-Core SLX provides an amazing amount of comfort for such a lightweight, compact offering, making it a great option for backpacking. It’s so comfortable that it’s one of our Gear Specialists’ pad of choice, not just for backpacking but also on camping trips when weight and packed size don’t really matter. PrimaLoft Silver insulation and a heat-reflective barrier combine to grant the pad a warm 3.5 R-value so you can venture out in all but the coldest of seasons. The inflatable design is what keeps weight and packed size to a minimum, but it doesn’t mean you need to inflate it by mouth. Big Agnes includes a pump sack that quickly blows up the pad through the high-volume inflation valves.
